Motorcycle Riding Experience: Rode the first time in '83 on my Dad's 79' Oil Leaking AMF Style (but oh so beautiful) Sportster.   Had several metrics over the past 20 years, got on my own Gunmetal Blue - Gold Key Edition 100th. Anniversary Sporty in 2003, and bumped up to the all time champion of comfort - the 2004 Ultra-Classic FLHTCUI in April of 2004.

Spoiled myself in ’08 and got a new Ultra Classic just causin’ I like em’ shiny !

Currently Rides:

2008 Ultra Classic ‘Blue Thunder’

Bio/Family: Born in  Dallas, TX., Raised in Dallas till 10, moved to Carrollton, and stayed in the general vicinity until around 2003 when I moved to Denton. My folks still live in Carrollton, and I see them often.  I even ride with my Dad 'Pappy' on occasion (even though he's now on one of the nicest clean classic 1980 Goldwings you've ever seen)
Grin Grin.
Favorite Ride: Well, any of the road in Arkansas have to rate real high, but I suppose the best would be running up and down the 'whoop-de-doos' of the South Texas - Fredricksburg area.  Gotta be careful on them twisties though -
Personal Comment:

Best Story - ' What 3 things happen when you hit a 15 mph curve at 30, on 16 south of Fredericksburg ?
1) If you lean into the curve hard enough - you'll scrape yer floorboards and get back on yer side of the yellow line
2) Judy will have both her arms out like wings - 'flying' - hollering - "Whoo Hoooooooo"
3) You'll hear Baywatch who's following close behind,  say on the CB radio,  "Nice recovery dude !"

Best advice ever heard - "How to ride a Scooter"

  • Defense - Defense - Defense - - -

  • Slow Down when the road demands it - - -

  • Don't push beyond yer personal limits - - - -

  • Live Life like each day is Sunny and 75 degrees, and you're riding with a bottomless tank !

  • RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE
