As life happens in our membership, there are times when your Chaplain’s
could come alongside members for encouragement and support. We would
like to be there in times of joy and in pain, should you need us. In the
hectic schedule of life, members can easily fall through the cracks in
times of need, especially if they are new or not well connected to the
chapter. The Chaplain’s team is here for those times, to come alongside
you to assist or be an official friend.
We would like to help, and
generally await an invitation into situations.
Once notified, our involvement in a member’s life could mean: a
personal visit or simply serving as a communication link to our many
chapter friends. On occasion
this could mean coordinating physical assistance, for example: rides to
the doctor or meals following surgery.
Your Chaplain’s and Group Life volunteers could easily be called
your “Care Team”.
Activities include:
Chapter Meeting Hospitality
New Member Welcome Contact
(we have a new member
communication which has been included in the new member packets)
Prayer & Caring.
Ours is a ministry of presence,
and we will pray for any need.
The items below are provided when
notified
Hospital Visits (for sick or
injured)
Providing a card from the team, on
behalf of the chapter.
Providing flowers in times of
crisis with immediate family members
Home Visits (For sick or injured
when appropriate)
